Genshin Impact has an undeserved terrible reputation, and is more fun than Breath of the Wild.

Paid gambling as a core mechanic is an automatic pass from me. FOMO manipulation is just gravy on the shit sandwich. It could be the best game ever and I'd still never play it because of how manipulative and greedy the game is. The game with monetization closest to Genshin I've played was LoL and I dropped that ages ago. I've moved on to quality shorter experiences, haven't regretted it for a moment.

How do yall feel about the season 3 update?

I've been loving the changes, more combo routes, burst feels good and like a more interesting choice. Gold burst instant tension removal was a great choice. I don't like that gold burst are unpunishable now, but the tradeoff is you can turn off burst with Wild Assault, so I'm still satisfied. I wish Test got more buffs, but everyone wishes their main got more buffs XD.

StarCraft is too damn hard for casual players. I mean, who the hell has time to hit 300 APM just to be decent? This game's high skill ceiling is pushing away potential players.

As a person who is still on their FGC journey, I get where the frustration comes from. There are players who simply are more invested in the game than you, and they're going to beat you. Quite badly. Your approach matters a lot in stuff like this. If you want to play competitively and win, unfortunately there is a large wall there. You just have to sit and grind. And I don't mean blindly, you need to do research, practice motions you do a lot in the game, it's a lot of work. But, if you don't want to do that, no one is making you. Find like minded players and play casual rounds, these people exist, I'm not gonna pretend like that's an easy solution though. Ultimately, the game isn't getting patched. It's going to be like this forever. Realistically, you have 3 choices, get better to keep up with the devoted players, accept you're going to lose a whole lot if you just match with randoms without practicing, or find a group of people that also want to play casually.
