WTF? This computer's CPU fan is powered on by only a HDMI monitor
HDMI and DP both provide a small amount of power. The motherboard must be designed in such a way that it can leak backwards and cause the fan to spin.

Any of y'all have a NAS? What's your setup?
I've got a HP DL360 g9 running Ubuntu server lts and ZFS on Linux with 8× 1.2tb 10k disks, and an external enclosure (connected by external SAS) with 8× 2tb (3.5" sata) disks. The 1.2tb disks are in a ZFS raid10 array which has all our personal and shared documents, photos, etc The 2tb disks are in a raidz6 and stores larger files.
It uses a stupid amount of power though (mainly the 10k disks) so it's going to be replaced this year with something newer, not sure what that will look like yet.

Brief login as other user?
Oh-oh someone might have configured caching wrong...
Like what happened to Steam in 2015: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/steam-caching-error-leads-to-account-disclosure/

What's everyone's thoughts on split or tented keyboards?
I've been thinking about getting a Moonlander for work. Been having some pain in my arms/shoulders/wrists after work. Would be my first split keyboard.

YouTube tests blocking videos unless you disable ad blockers
Reply in thread
The problem is that unlike a lot of other ads YouTube serves its ads from YouTube.com and because of SSL PiHole can only act on YouTube.com as a whole, so there's no way to block just the ads without blocking all of the site.
