i love the new enchants and curses, and im genuinely so excited for the visual updates, the game in its present state is nice and practical, but the planned changes will actually make the game look alot more like eye candy. hope i get to see it go live.

What's something you learned recently that's helped your game?
not very recently, but for the longest time i thought you had to jump down the empty well to fall down the room, so if i didnt have a levi potion or something i would skip it lol

-''Slightly improved the visual for the existing ‘alerted’ and ‘target lost’ thought bubbles.'' this one is subtle but so nice.
-The in-game randomize buttons now blink white as a reminder if the player is currently qualified for the randomized victory badge and outside of the very start of a run.
this one was needed honestly, though im not sure what u mean by the outside of the very start of a run.

not much to say to be honest, i tried 6 chal today with duelist, and i got the ferret tuft as an option and thought let me try it, its just crazy, wands, surprise attacks, and other ways ot damaging/killing is plenty, its ridiculous. with FIMA its especially crazy, augmented armor for evasion aswell. idk maybe im just lucky atm but it really seems borderline game breaking

its fine to have own opinions, but this idea very clearly goes against the basics of a roguelike. your example for slay the spire literally helped show this point: you start the run and slowly make your deck, then at some point, you need to do something that either rewards or punishes you, but your own deck and decisions leading up to that point have nothing to do with it? makes little sense.
again, im not saying it cant be a nice addition persay, but it will need a lot of thought behind it. youre the dev afterall :)
