What isn’t a lot but it’s weird it’s happened twice

It's something that we should semi-explain or be like if you have questions just message / talk to me about it and I'll give more information.

But yeah we often give to much info and overload people in one go.

So would it not be better to have communities in Lemmy for that or hashtags for Mastodon and the rest of the Fediverse for finding work / networking?

I believe this is something being worked on through Mastodon as well as a few other people are working on it but yes it would be amazing to see some E2EE for the Fediverse

It is certainly possible as there is E2EE through some Email Providers and Email is a Decentralized system as well.

What would the use of a LinkedIn Alternative be? Isn't it just a circle jerk for business'

That would be amazing to see, I can't wait to see things like that come about and hopefully integrate into each other properly through open protocols

@[email protected] It is what's upsetting about it at the moment, It's also what ActivityPub and The Fediverse is here to solve into the Future, the main issue is we need platforms to adopt it and grow alongside each other. It's one of the things I've been trying to do with creating banners and little digital adverts for the Fediverse.

Soon I hope to push into other sections that could help push people to move across, in the end people can't move unless they learn about it, The only way to learn about is to be educated by the people using it.

Bringing Local Teams and groups into the Fediverse, This is something that I'd love to actually see even as a person that isn't much into Sports.

There was a mirror at one point, the main reason most people didn't enjoy it is due to the replies and feedback kinda being non-existent as the users can't see your comment and it just get's put on this random bot instance.

That does sound really good, I know someone that does Leather work and I would get that into that so fast.

From what I can gather the Government is waiting for the community / public to move across, the public has to wait for the sources of Information so news, reporters and creators and those are waiting for both there community and the government / people they have to interact with to keep going.

It's kinda a big circle that everyone is waiting for the next person to move across.

That is the dream, It would be amazing to see the Fediverse grow and maintain a larger userbase.

Some of those changes like Account Migration with posts and stuff is coming to AP in the future. I know @[email protected] was working on this at some point but unsure how far they got. This would make it easier to change your username but I'm pretty sure it's like that to be consistent for servers that are offline temporarily or not updating quickly as they could get confused on who they are actually following.

Yeah I get that, when it comes to Celebs I'm not sure how to solve that but I know I'm planning on making posters to plaster up and advertise the Fediverse as a whole. I'm also looking to sell these sorts of posters to people using the Fediverse so we can get more advertisement out there.

When it comes to digital advertisement it's a bit of posting on normal social media but also educating people through Videos, Comments and more. It's trying to show we are a great place for people to go and it's not as complex as people think.

I think that sort of thing would end up being closer to Ebay or Facebook Marketplace rather than Amazon but yet a marketplace or a way to have people advertise things even with a tag on Mastodon like #Marketplace and maybe a few marketplace lemmy communities.

That could be a good start till people build out Fediverse Software that would help people find items in there local area or business' can sell things directly on here.
