Not surprising. Many companies brag about record profits but won't give raises that match or exceed inflation. Only way to get a proper raise is to change jobs.

I would have considered paying like 5 euro's a month just to use RiF. It's more than reasonable considering how much time I spent on it.

Hypothetically speaking, if Reddit back tracks on their API plan and meets all of the communities expeditions- would you go back to Reddit?
Only if /u/spez gets fired without any sort of compensation. As long as he has any sort of power over Reddit he'll just wait and try to pull this again.
