I'm generally willing to pay for a service (I donate to Open Source Projects I regularly use) because of course there are server costs, development costs, etc. But in this case and after all that Reddit has done to its user base it would be a very bad signal to give them money for it... Abgesehen von der Autokultur in den USA, die ich verachte, verstehe ich nicht ganz, wie man in die USA fliegen kann und sich überhaupt nicht mit deren Kultur befasst hat. Oder stecke ich zu tief in der Urbanism-Szene drin, dass ich die USA so sehr damit verbinde und das für mich selbstverständlich wirkt?

It makes me cry a lot. I live in an urban part of Germany and there used to be 0 Pickup trucks in my residential area but in the last few years a bunch of those popped up. There are no parking lots those things fit onto and I only ever the them pulling a small trailer, the loading bed is never used. And one of them has a Confederate Flag on it...

Bisschen off topic, aber hört der geteilte Fuß- und Radweg auf dem Symbolbild nicht auf, wo die Autos anfangen zu parken und beginnt da nicht ein Parkstreifen+Fußweg? Dann wäre das ein ziemlich schlechtes Symbolbild (und auch ziemlich schlechte Infrastruktur).

Es müsse außerdem längst nicht bei jedem Falschparker die Polizei gerufen werden, so Weichert. In vielen Fällen sei es sinnvoller, den Betroffenen einfach "direkt auf sein asoziales Verhalten anzusprechen."

Ich glaube er versteht das Konzept von Parken noch nicht ganz. Das ist, wenn jemand sein Fahrzeug abstellt und dann weg geht. Außerdem bezweifle ich, dass das irgendwie sinnvoll wäre und das das Verhalten ändern würde.

Zur Nutzung des Barcode-Scanners sind Google Play-Dienste erforderlich. Die App enthält wohl auch Werbung (wobei sie bei mir wahrscheinlich geblockt wird) und die automatischen Übersetzungen aus dem französischen, die erklären sollen, warum ein Unternehmen nicht umweltfreundlich, tierfreundlich, etc. ist, sind nicht sehr gut. Auch sind Teile des UI noch nicht übersetzt worden. Idee schön, aber Umsetzung nicht so toll, vor allem, wenn man ein Privatsphäre-respektierendes OS hat.
