Australian-made children’s TV content found to have collapsed between 2019 and 2022

A great local 20-year-old animation studio in my city had to close down when the quotas were dropped. All that amazing talent has now either moved overseas or to different industries, which I find quite sad. The dropping of local content quotas are huge but unseen blows to our sense of cultural identity, and makes it impossible for locals to cut their teeth in the television industry. Without quotas we may never have got a show like Bluey.
