Some of that does sound like Trump supporter logic though. Sounds like a lot of negativity when you talk w people too.

Why Tennesse's clocks still change despite law to make daylight saving time permanent
Reply in thread
I'm against it. There is no point to it. Just keep the clocks the same, no reason to change them. Not many other places in the world do it. We only did it because in the old old days, farmers needed more light.
Not only that, but not even every state here in the US does it anyway. So why make some do it?

China to launch new modules to Tiangong space station
Reply in thread
They have. We (USA) used to be really good with tech. Built our own rockets, built our own computers, put a man on the moon. Now why we are stuck with admins arguing with each other and not really making any giant leaps froward, China is doing what we aren't.
And if we don't get our shit together quick, China is gonna beat us to the modern day moon. they plan to get there by 2030. Our plan was by 2027, but we are already delaying the first stage of that plan.
To be honest, I'm betting China beats us there this time around.

What fuck we landed on the moon in fucking 1960s with computers less powerful then my phone today. Why are all these countries failing at landing on the moon?
My thoughts exactly. I say this same thing to my gf all the time! lol

Just accept that your argumentative style and habit of putting people down are unwelcome here. So much of your post history is of you complaining. You're being negative and toxic to the Lemmy community. Look at all your downvotes in this thread.
Your mod history doesn't paint a pretty picture! lol Doesn't that tell you something about what people on Lemmy think of you and the way you talk to people? You need to take a break from Lemmy or something. You this angry in your real life? Ick.

China Is Going to the Moon by 2030. Here's What's Known About the Mission—and Why It Matters
Oh and before Lemmy jumps the gun and associates Rand.org with republicans or libertarians--because you all make EVERYTHING political-- Rand.org (the RAND Corporation) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization, and they explicitly say they do not advocate for specific policies or political outcomes. It's not republican/libertarian or democrat.
It’s called RAND because the name started as a shortened form of “research and development." Nothing to do with Paul Rand! lol

It's been threatened before, but is AI finally about to kill Hollywood? A new model called Seedance looks like it can.
It can't be worse than a lot of the cheap Hollywood movies that are obsessed with CGI. So I'm actually happy to see Hollywood shaken up. They've had a monopoly on moviemaking for way too long.
