$50 can be a lot for some people, but certainly for the DS games and those remasters (along with Breath of the Wild), it could be worth it for many.

Honestly, a Wii is kinda the ultimate gamecube for the average person, as that has 100% backwards compatibility, are dirt cheap, have widely available composite cables that are 20x cheaper than the rare gamecube ones, gives you access to the Wii library, and also the ability to easily softmod them to then access the high seas and emulation of 16-bit and 8-bit consoles.

The closest to that would be hard sci-fi, where many authors were in STEM fields and used that background in their writings, or wrote stories based around their real life STEM field (this is often the case in Analog Magazine).

Some were punk in the solarpunk/cyberpunk sense, as they were often anti-authoritarian, and sometimes even anticapitalist.

As an example, The Dispossessed by Ursula Le Guin was about a mathematician who lives on a planet with a mostly Anarchist society (it's a great read).

Bear in mind that only the older revisions of the Wii have GameCube controller and memory card ports, the later revisions removed them (though they can still play GameCube ISO's from the SD card if softmodded, which works well with the Wii Classic controller).

Personally I don't find the Wii U's catalog compelling enough for the higher price compared to a Wii, and apparently Wii games can look better on a soft-modded wii compared to running them on a Wii U, but for those who like the Wii U's catalog it probably is the ultimate version.

They are also being used to track women getting abortions out of state, as well as activists.

Benn Jordan also exposed that Flock cameras have virtually no security, allowing anyone to log into a camera via wifi and alter footage/evidence, download what its recorded, etc. They also proved that Flock cameras will track individual people walking around, such as in parks where some are installed.
