Taiwan says 40% shift of chip capacity to US is 'impossible'
Wasn't logistics the US's superpower? I'd expect someone to explain their chief that factories aren't monolitic objects that can be picked up and delivered to a new location and go right into production?

Germany’s CDU Pushes Real-Name Social Media Mandate and ID Checks
Is the CDU also willing to put their money where their mouth is? We haven't had one year without some internet service being breached. So, are those politicians going to pay when our real identities are exposed?
And when they're at it, how about some actual recourse when you get banned?

Trump’s creation: A Europe that spends more on defense — and can stand up to the US
Quite funny how the rethoric has been that Europe should pay its own defences, and now the US is losing the cost sharing of its own as Europe invests in its own industries rather than keeping those of the US flowing.

According to the investor page from Reddit, they have 100 million unique users. Kicking a few hundred here and there doesn't have an impact on that number. At that point individual users are worthless to the firm.
Ironic how they refered to their rule #1 "Remember the human", when I got permabanned for litterly nothing.

Microsoft starts testing Copilot Vision update that can “see” your screen and apps
I'm not impressed with Copilot. Today I tried to have an Excell file translated and it just couldn't do it. Just a single column, simple text and nope, couldn' do it. Paste the text of a cell right into Copilot worked fine, but I wasn't going to do it manualy with the 13000 rows. Tried the same with ChatGPT and that didn't work either.

And rather than fighting against people who can't reach your home, those protestors can strike back. I hope anyone in the military realises that he's putting their own family at harms way. That may very well change the equation. I'm sure they are willing to risk their own lives, but are they also willing to risk the lives of the kids?
