Ethical treatment of animals - people excluded
I don’t think this is real, mostly because I don’t think PETA has a sense of humor. I don’t think they’re capable of funny.

I'd rather have this than the unskippable & unmutable commercials yelling at me at the gas pumps. I'm just trying to get gas.

Trump-themed burger joint that was raided by ICE has been replaced by new restaurant
Overpriced burgers with "TRUMP" stamped on the bun. Why can't I think of some grift like that? I could be making bank. Stupid conscience.

Doesn’t matter his defense. Good luck to the prosecution finding 12 people that have never been shafted by insurance. Hell, good luck finding 1.

The artist has “secret” symbols that he hides in all of his comics, and the slice of pie is one of them. By the names in the upper left hand corner is a “3”, which means he’s put 3 of the symbols in this panel. There’s also a stick of dynamite and “O2” (which stands for Olive Oyl).

You don’t have to go back that far, just look at digital music. People were trading files on Napster, and the music industry was having a fit. Steve Jobs opened the iTunes Music Store and started selling all files for .99, people started gobbling them up, and piracy went down. Then along came Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc., and most people are happy to pay. Why, because it’s so much easier and convenient than trying to pirate it and get it on your phone/player.
Don’t get me wrong, people still pirate, but the percentage is low compared to what it was before these easy legal options. People will always take the easiest route, legal or illegal.

Far-right Uline President blames high-turn over rate on the ACA instead of their crappy work environment
“…but boy, how times have changed.”
Have they ever Liz. My father got a good paying job and was able to support us with decent wages and benefits with only a high school diploma. His employer respected him and the hard work he did, and by that I mean that he was respected as an employee, had a decent work schedule, and they didn’t pile extra work on him that wasn’t his job just because they could. Also, “if you don’t like it, go find another job” wasn’t his company’s mantra. As a result he worked for them loyally for over 40 years, even putting in extra hours when he needed without complaining or expecting extra compensation, just because, y’know, he enjoyed working there and was made to feel like an important part of the company instead of a disposable cog that’s always looking over his shoulder afraid that his position would get cut or he would be let go on a whim. Oh, did I mention that, after he retired, his replacement (that he trained) didn’t work out? So two months after retiring he went back to work for six more months to do the job while helping find another replacement and train them. Dang, the things you’ll do for a company that respects you and treats you right.
Yeah Liz, how times have changed, huh?

After calling it "an utter and complete load of bollocks”, Iron Maiden will skip the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony
My favorite is Steve Miller, who when he was inducted in 2016, spent his induction press conference trashing the Hall, complaining about how it’s run, and that they only gave him 2 tickets & told him that his band would have to pay $10K per ticket to attend.
