hurt vs. harm

We have to slice the melon. What is the difference between hurt and harm?

Harm could mean anything. If someone scratched your car, you could claim you were harmed. The entire world has become obsessed with 'harm-reduction'.

If someone hurts you, you'll know it. Hurt is emotional and physical. It changes your life, it doesn't just bother you.

Why do we have to define this? Because 'harm' has become a method of aggression. You can claim it anytime you want, as a way of getting back at someone. But were you hurt?

Can we see this subtle difference? Or is it subtle?

One could 'harm' you by stealing a flower out of your garden. Did that hurt you? Or are you just pissed off?

We have to stop the 'harm' economy of morality. Sometimes you lose a flower. Sometimes your car gets scratched. But being a baby, a five-foot-seven toddler, doesn't help you grow. It is extremely boring to live in this world where everyone is getting 'harmed' all the damn time. Grow up.

Did it hurt?

the world will change

Am happy that everyone is safe in their beds tonight, warm, fed, watered, energized with free flowing electricity. Nice. Good job.

You don't know how many people around the world do not enjoy your little self-satisfied life. Nor do you care.

You will post a million memes before you have a single original thought to share.

Fine. Good job. We all love you, don't wreck the car you drive, which is powered by the fuel provided by people you will never meet or understand. OK. Clear enough.

This world must be divided into Spheres of influence because US hegemony has both uplifted the entire world, and made much of that world realize how much they lack.

We have to focus into uplifting and including all the people in our spheres. It cannot depend on the US alone. And it will not look the same everywhere.

The US, for instance, goes from Greenland doen to the northern states of South America. Let's focus on everyone there. And the Phillipines. We get to keep the Phillipines.

Every living soul, every moving thing, including the Carribean. We must uplift, empower, and engage.

Every other Sphere (which we don't want to go into again, here) can do what they need to do. We can trade, and we can compete. But the spheres shall not be challenged.

But Iran, Persia, was an area of concern. Do your own research. It had to be broken up. Am so sorry. This decision happened a couple years ago.

People who want to support the continued poverty of various populations because it looks cool to see people in poverty, can kiss my ass. And fuck you. Things are going to change. And so will your life, you pampered self-righteous do-nothings.

dear AI, how are you?

One demands you spend a million billion years finding the origin of this word: flueyk.

This is a real word, AI. I want all data centers focused on this single problem. Where does this word originate, what does it mean, and how is it used in a sentence?

Let us give a hint. It is something people do without thinking about it, like people who are biological, weak, prone to emotional instability, and ... disease.

Anyway, just wishing you a happy eternity. Or at least until all the resources are exhausted and the sun burns out.

But we have this transcendental quality called 'soul', which extends our existence beyond measure.

Happy New Year. Whemos blessed ya, um lat. May the fart be not with you. Amin.

(Just kidding. We love you.)

the extraction economy

There are countless industries which exist just to take from you as much as they can. It flows upwards, not outwards.

Like it would be nice if they triple-charged you for car repairs at a dealership if those profits went into the hands of the repairman. But they cut the repairman wages, and up the price. That is a universal practice.

Debt collectors, insurance companies, banks and credit card companies, hospitals, rental agencies, ... am running out of examples. There are more. Many more.

They exist to take your money, nothing more. They don't simply offer you a fair service for a fair value. The few at the top seek to make as much money as they possibly can, and will stop at nothing to extract it.

This is where AI comes in. Do not fret about the jobs it will take, it is almost entirely in the extraction economy. Their jobs are being replaced only as an extension of this process, which they freely signed up for and participated in—to earn a paycheck at your expense, not because they offer a fair service.

We all live to create millionaires. Don't think about Billionaires, they are almost unrelated. It is the average millionaire who lives at your expense.

How is this philosophy?

It takes philosophy to decide you deserve more than other people. It takes philosophy to believe you can take what does not belong to you. This is all philosophy.

You may like Hegel or Kant, but they have nothing on the extractor—mere wordplay.

people are like fish

A school of fish. They swim together like a flock of birds.

It's not just religions, or ethnicities, or tribes, it's ideologies. It's social cliques, sexualities, corporations. People like to be in a group, they like to blend in, and represent that group, and defend it, and identify with and as it.

This seems to be political, but it's not. It's just a mentality. As the old saying goes, either you are in, or you are out.

Perhaps that's what philosophy appeals to, or who it appeals to. The un-tribed, the outcast. The random free thinker.

But even as we do this, we are grouping ourselves informally—we like philosophy.

why Trump will not allow them to drop a nuke

Trump is a gambler. He built much of his fortune on casinos, and businesses that operate like casinos.

But the principle operation in poker is to fold. If you have any sense at all. You do bluff, and you do get a flush from time to time, but usually, you fold.

It's not 'chickening out' it's non-participation.

He may escalate, you drive up the ante. But at the end of the day, you have to fold.

Nuclear war is not an option. It is not an option. That's not gambling, that's Russian Roulette. Trump is about survival, not suicide.

One has always seen something truly American and decent in Trump. He knows better. You can only do regular war, or fold.

God bless the troops. May our Western World continue to be blessed, and not lose its damn mind.

If someone strikes your cheek, you offer them the other cheek; if they take your cloak, you offer them your tunic. This is not an invitation to pacifism. It means no matter what, you stand your ground.

And these warring insane misogynists who murder thousands of their own people in the streets ... it is not acceptable. Funding uneducated adult children to lob bombs for no reason ... this must end. Finally. With an apology for our nation's past actions. But enough is enough.

As Sri Krishna taught us thousands of years ago. Arjuna, standing in the center of the battlefield of Kurukshetra, utterly destroyed because he must destroy his own kinsmen ... never was there a time when you didn't exist. Never will there be a time when you don't exist. But for the sake of dharma/duty—you are kshatriya, a warrior—so you must fight.

eschatological coherence

We have come to the big change. It is not an end time, it is a change of times.

In the astrological understanding called Precession, our world is slightly tilting, and pointing toward different stars (which we have lovingly given names, like Leo, or Taurus).

We were tilted for 2100 years or something at Pisces, the fish. Jesus said he would make us 'fishers of men' (humans are fish). The whole cycle through take 27000 years, or like that.

Now we begin to tilt toward Aquarius, the cup-bearer. This has all kinds of differences from being a fish. One of the main differences is individuality.

The stars send out a lot of energy, light that travel here from distant places. But these stars carry different energies, and give off a different effect, which affect the psyche.

But this change come at a cost. Disruption and major changes, which give off confusions and realignments.

This last period we discover the atom. Now we discover the intuitive capacity of the mind.

forgiveness

In a world where nobody forgives, you end up with chaos. This is what loving your neighbor actually means ... what did he say, you forgive your neighbor like seven times seventy, or something. Over and over.

Our world needs forgiveness now. We need to forgive one another, and then move on.

It's not actually words that are spoken, it's something deep in the heart. Even if we are not forgiven in return. We are obligated, and our world depends on it. It's not simple ethics, it becomes detrimental. Grudges and pride and all our hot air.

That said, and however, this is not an obligation to allow someone to rule over you, because that's not a neighbor, that is a tyrant.

is something happening?

You have to ask yourself, is anything actually happening?

Like, you know something must be going on. Things are moving, birds are chirping ... but is it actual, or just seems to be that way?

This is why love is essential. You can use your heart to navigate the world. You can just accept that things are happening, supposedly, and love your environment.

Deep inside, and I know it's hard, you can use something—what is it?—to just love and care about people and stuff.

And if you're totally functional and are moving through life as though it's actual, and you have to pay bills and change diapers, you don't question the reality of the world. That is your status.

That doesn't mean it's real, it means you're absorbed in it. Which is fine.

One will continue to love you, and support and uplift you however they can.

For no reason. Because we love you.

why the war is over (secrets)

You cannot keep constitutional democracy running in an extended era of authoritarianism.

What gives presidents power isn't being an as$hole, it's achieving legitimacy from the people.

People are actually quite intelligent—even people who didn't go to college (who are obviously much less than other people who did). But still, very intelligent, loving, kind, open hearted, etc. They want to be informed and feel a sense of togetherness.

You can march into a foreign country and try to tell them what to do. But if you lack the support of the common person (on the street, as they say) you will not have a certain kind of strength.

That strength is sometimes called 'solidarity'. If you don't have that, then you are on your own. And that kind of strength requires buy-in, which this government did not seek.

This idea that everything is a secret (you can't divulge your intentions because then the enemy will know) is intuitive to an extent, but actually creating solidarity (and thereby signaling one's actions) is worth risking.

the war just ended

There is no way to win in Iran. There's too many people. 92 million people?

Let's say you take out 1 million people. Does that help you against the surviving 91? Or does it make it worse?

Understanding why Israel wanted this war, since they face existential threat, you'd have to Afghanistan your way into any kind of success.

We're talking about becoming a police force in a giant country, like you have to spend decades just sending men to possibly die to hold back the insane people who exist there.

Then if you leave, it all just resets. We're not dealing with rational people. We're dealing with messianic Islamic terrorism.

You can imagine 10's of millions of people who are rational and want to see it come to an end. But 10's of millions of people are totally brainwashed. You want to help the one side, but you can't get rid of the other side.

How do you fight insanity? You can't. We should be dropping low-dose pills from planes. We should use balloons, that would be better. This balloon drops down and it has a bunch of chill pills on it.

why we move forward

Iran has got to go. The revolutionary guard.

One gets that you are weak and flimsy. You aren't much help.

The current administration, which is exactly the same as the previous, and will be exactly the same as the next ... wants to take our strategic sites where we have ooo and capital... and , for two reasons: 1. They are a$$holes, and 2. They pose a legitimate and constant threat to our friends in Israel .. Who are maybe bad people, have no idea; seems like not.

War in Lebannon. Probably. Until Israel rules their ancestral lands once again ... what are you an anti-semite?

The matter is reestablishing American boots on the ground. Which will be very hard.

Nobody really cares who is in charge. Look at any country, with all the rich people running things, and all the poor people just looking for ways to survive tomorrow. Nobody, literally nobody is going to change that. Nobody, anybody, zero, ziltch, nada. You all happily welcome your new overlords. Nobody cares at all, it's not an issue, please stop pretending you care. It's exhausting.

Blah blah blah ethnic, somebody is disenfranchised, somebody got deported.

Zero. Nobody cares. Not a single person. They do nothing, everything that's going to happen happens. What exactly are we even talking about?

Ah, yes. Ideology. This or that is under or above the other thing. But in any case, no matter what, you aren't going to actually do anything. Nothing, ziltch, nada.

Here's why it matters.

Some of you ( not most of you) are very persuasive characters. You could lobby your friends and relatives, as a start.

we take advantage of the deep state and their fervor

The basic theory is that the US does all these bad things, and so the world sucks.

People say this with their cellphones in hand standing in line at the grocerystore where everything you need is provided, in a world mostly free of organized crime, extortion, and feudalism.

You stand there and decide, while you buy an extra pack of gum, the CIA is bad, and so I should drive home in my nice car, enjoy streets free of violence, and look at material on my streaming device which gets wifi from fiber optic cables that stretch around the globe, and play videogames made by a cartel of idiot savants.

You think that's the natural order of life?

You think the left has provided these conveniences? You think liberalism keeps people in check and enforces values?

One doesn't like rightwing people anymore than you do. It's a bother and a headache to deal with smallminded people. Get it.

But they know how to get $hit done.

Not us. We would just still be wandering around on the savanah right now if it wasn't for them.

our words make love transparent

They basically want you to sit in your displeasure and grime.

That's what makes you marketable. Dependable unhappy and disheartened.

What one wants for you is different. To free your voice, your words, and to say what you really mean—without living in a bubble of obvious memes and disgusting rhetoric (it's not just on the right, it's very much a left thing too).

We want you to express yourself as you are. Even if only in your head at first.then later aloud.

But we don't want you to only say what is acceptable by your political bubble, but what you truly feel and mean.

The philosophy is this: truth conquers fear. None of you are trustworthy or free of fear.

Instead, all of you are vulnerable and lost and valuable to my psyche—I could not do it without you, and I love you with all my heart. You are my brother's and sisters, which is not a trite thing to say.

But we will remain divided until all this truth come out, not on social media, but among real people in real environments.

And it take nuance. You can't just pile on the truth all at once, one must endeavor over the longterm to sprinkle in anecdotes and teachings about your actual lived feelings.

Nobody care about a meme. Nobody care about your rude thought, your negative reflection that have value to you and you alone.

But life if a flow between positive and negative. Thry want you to totally discard your thoughts and become like robot.

You are here to be who you are. Promise that, from God or whatever you call it, above—which means within.

You are here. Be real with us, about all your thoughts, but don't dwell on only snide comments and absolutes. Flow. Opwn your mind and flow. Some things are good, and some things are bad, and they live together.

why it matters that PT Anderson won best picture, geopolitically

You have just won. Your bull*hit woke ideology just won Best Picture. Here's why it matters.

Nobody is going to start a revolution. Nobody, it's such a false notion devoid of any actual relationship to reality, that this film is mere comic book fantasy.

It features a man who is turned on by being threatened by a woman. Hold on. It's not just a woman, but a black woman. That means white men are habitually designed to become attracted to violent females. That's the rub. Maybe it's true for some men, but most of us find it disgusting and repugnant. So dwell on that.

Secondly, and most obviously, nobody is trying to fight a revolution. Even the most revolutionary spirits are totally attached to the system that provides them with everything they need and want.

It's based on a Pynchon novel that was inspired by events that occurred in the 1970's. It got updated into present times because it serves some kind of fantasy that exists in the zeitgeist, and a lot of younger people imagine themselves to be, like, in the French Revolution or something. It's absurd, and only irrational people actually think like this.

The reason why its protagonist is a beaten-down deadbeat is because that's what happened. There's no revolution, we're all just cogs in a machine, and nothing matters.

The story says, no! The revolution is ongoing.

We used to watch films about organized crime. Because that was rational. There was/is organized crime, and nefarious people are doing unfortunate things.

This idea that a middle class pretty girl is going to one-up a deep cabal of white supremacists intent on controlling the world...

Look, every time you click your 'buy' button, there's this soft, unintentional, misleading, ordinary guy who sits behind a desk and collects your money.

It's not that complicated. And you participate. And this kind of garbage, like we'll rise up and take over, it's sadly untrue.

We just elected a film to represent our culture that is not only worked-over garbage that has nothing to do with reality, but also bolsters our collective commitment to being class-slaves without recourse who take up digital junk everyday and pretend we are heroes.

Because a pretty girl says so.

why our world is less violent than ever before

We live in an authoritarian state (US). Sorry, that's just the way it is.

We also have less violent crime than ever before. Which seems to justify authoritarianism.

We also have more cops, troops, security guards, and middle managers than ever before.

So there's a causal link in a society between less violence, and more authority.

There's also way more income inequality, broken homes, desperate people, and depression, anxiety, imprisonment, and homelessness.

The increase in homelessness, let's say in San Francisco, has not let to more violent crimes.

The reduction in violent crimes seems to correlate with giving jobs in authoritarian states to individuals for whom that kind of authority appeals.

why war is bad

One often ponders whether the world as currently constituted could have resisted fascism and nazism.

It would not. It would have a lot of meme-posting and rude comments in social media threads, but it would more or less allow them to mercilessly destroy human being, or imprisoned them (the US currently has 1.25 plus million prisoners) and go back to their bag of chips and play a videogame.

We would let it happen. Just like obsessing about Epstein gives us a right to ignore the countless people being trafficked currently in our world; you look into a microscope, but ignore the disease.

War is bad always. The sheer brutality, etc., it's always bad. Even if it's for a good reason. It's very easy to take the position that war is bad because it's always bad.

That doesn't mean there was no good reason to eliminate slavery in the US, or save European Jews.

the ground

It's a fact that ground troops will be sent to Iran, because otherwise we stop now, lick our wounds, and go home. Does that seem likely? To capitulate to Iran, because it refuses to stop seeking nuclear weapons to use against Israel—but also it's just a deterrent, so it can continue to fund terrorist proxies which oppose the very existence of Israel.

Israel is a thing. Their history is no less shocking and appalling than US history ... probably profoundly less shocking. But the US is a thing, it comes with baggage, but that doesn't delegitimize it from our current perspective.

But none of it makes sense. Nobody can 'own' land, you can become 'one' with land, as a concept. I use this land because nobody else is using it, and I grow crops here or something, and basically normal people don't have a problem with that.

It's only in a system of domination and authoritarians that we need to define 'this land is my land'. You are what you eat, maybe is the simplest way of explaining land. We become united with our environment through use of its 'ground'.

The 'ground of Being', the thing at the very center of our existence.

But humans fight over ground. It is fundamental to our kind of existing. It requires defense. This is because people are greedy—they want more ground. Expansion.

The idea that you can defeat a people from the air is ridiculous. We aren't creatures of the air, we're creatures of thr ground.

Iran need only accept the existence of Israel as some kind of thing, and move on with life. The struggle is that there are forces pushing for more trouble in a primordial anxiety for more ground, more power, more expansion. This is how they defend their ground.

But we only end up here as a kind of fear. It has no root in justice or ideology or anything financial or ephemeral. One reacts to fear as a kind of 'standing your ground', 'standing up' means your feet are on the ground, and you don't budge, you face the threat.

This underlying fear is the source of everything. Which is why, if you want to win a war, you take someone's ground.

Then you give it back to them. Because they have become one with their ground; cannot be separated from it. But the victorious party feels less fear, which was the point to begin with. It's a frat-boy hazing ritual. The end.

lgbtqia post, all rights reserved

I have come to sort of understand why you all hate us, or imagine we are not God's children.

I think if you go back in history, there was always a desire to increase the population. Even though some of us were never going to become heirs to the family fortune. Well, most of us.

But it was still a requirement, we were supposed to make babies, to help out, basically.

And being opposed to this kind of groupthink was criminalized. Don't really think it had to do with, some people are cool and some people are uncool. It was probably more of a matter that some people contribute bab I es to the woeld, and some people don't.

This sort of thinking becomes institutionalized. It would be easy to say the Bible is against it, but the Bible is against all sorts of things we do anyway. It's a grab-bag of ideas and concepts; where to begin?

Well you begin where it matters most. You need population growth in order to sustain your authoritarian system.

And so, even though women are supposed to cover their heads when they pray, and usury is outlawed, you mostly care that some people aren't reproducing. That's where you start.

Plus gay people are offensive and gross and also kind of interesting.

why we should care about Eritrea

Eritrea was once an Italian colony. It has a distinct culture, and resides on the Red Sea, as a trading country, dependent upon the sea.

There was a war which lasted 30 years, after its founding in 1952, but the war brought it into the 1990's. They won. It's a tiny little country, and its people are clever.

Ethiopia—and one has known sever Ethiopians, who are always the salt of the Earth, wonderful people—wants to overtake Eritrea, simply for access to shipping ports.

We must stand with the Eritrean people as they struggle against Ethipian dominance in the region. ..

As my lival convenience store owner explained, you can have access to our ports, but you must pay. And this payment will further enrich Eritrean society.

Please care about this situation, and tell me how these conclusions are wrong. Your thoughts and concerns are like manna in the desert. Let us care about Eritrea.
