Their plan is to enact Schedule F which allows the prez to kick people from the senate and place his own chosen people there and to allow the prez to essentially take over the whole executive branch of the government.

Ich tippe nichtsdestotrotz auf Ungleichbehandlung denn laut Artikel hat die aktuelle Polizistin sich weder beruflich noch privat bei Protestaktionen der LG gezeigt. Sofern nicht gerade irgendetwas massiv geheimes ausgeplaudert wurde oder in anderer Form tatsächlich Mist gebaut wurde vermute ich dass die Polizei ihr alleine wegen der Mitgliedschaft beim LG an den Kragen will. Etwas, was bei rechten Chats so meines Wissen nach ihr nicht wiederfahren wäre.

Ich finds gruselig, wie hoch die Gewaltbereitschaft gegen die LG ist. Das ist echt der Wahnsinn. Auch in meinem unmittelbaren Umfeld. Die LG macht sehr effektiv Druck nachdem FFF seit einiger Zeit (so mein Empfinden, kann mich täuschen) ignoriert wurde. Und der Grund ist ja klar: Regierung kommt nicht wegen Klimawandel zu Potte.

Statt aber auch nur ein Stückchen Solidarität zu zeigen beschwört man im Geiste eine Flotte Krankenwagen herauf und kritisiert die Protestform in der Hoffnung, nicht (mehr) davon gestört zu werden. Wie bei FFF. Oder man greift die Protestler an.

Die ganzen sozial akzeptierten Wege des Protests (sofern es denn welche gibt) sind erschöpft und wir haben echt nicht mehr genug Zeit, noch auf einen mega Aufsteiger in der Politik zu hoffen der auf magische Weise den Neoliberalismus bekämpft und alle unter dem Klimaschutz eint. Aber keine Sau denkt auch nur eine Sekunde über die Historie nach. Stattdessen ist man so überrascht dass die Leute so krass sind und so. Und man verlässt sich darauf, dass der demokratische Prozess immer schon alles richtet.

Jedenfalls hatte ich einen hier auf Lemmy der mir sagte dass ich entweder eine Diktatur schaffen könne oder mich einfach dem demokratischen Prozess fügen könnte als würde die Demokratie selbst immer die absolute Gerechtigkeit gewährleisten, egal wer denn nun regiert.

As far as i know the fear of vaccines started growing because of Andrew Wakefield.

Andrew Wakefield developed a vaccine against measles, however the MMR vaccine was already on the market doing its job just fine. So how could he make sure that his vaccine was taken instead of the MMR?

He had to start lying. So he started to spread the notion that the MMR vaccine would cause autism. My memory hets fuzzy from here on but basically it was MMR vaccine causing autism because it would mess with gut bacteria and to prove that he was messing with data and his colleagues and until they realized what was happening the damage was already done. And over time the lie from Wakefield turned into the commonly known "vaccines cause autism".
