It's Morphin' Time!

I feel like I just finished a marathon 😅

I'm so close to the end of my self portrait now! Filling in all the little gaps here in the final stretch feels like the most frustrating and time consuming part of the whole thing lol but each gap I fill in makes it look a little bit better!

This was part of a series called "Kid Stuff Records & Tapes". The cardboard record from the back is long gone but the book is still in good shape!

After a quick break I'm back on the self portrait! I'm trying to finish up the larger portions of the sides now, then I just have to fill in a lot of tiny gaps!

Now I just need to wash and frame it!

I took a short break from my self portrait to make this cross stitch of my girlfriend's dog (she's not on lemmy, it's a surprise for her birthday). This one has a lot fewer colors so it's going pretty fast hopefully I'll finish by this weekend!

It's actually starting to look like a picture now! That's my mom's dog Hank on the left! This is exciting! It looks like I'm close to being done but there's still a ton left to do lol

The self portrait is starting to actually look like something now lol! You can see the dog starting to take shape on the left now! If I work from a photograph again like this I might edit the photo a little bit first to make features stand out a bit more but I'm happy with how it's going

The book itself is not in great condition but it was so oddly specific and only cost $3 so I couldn't leave it behind lol

I'll probably wash, iron, and frame it this weekend! This pattern was a lot of fun!

This may look like it's almost done but there's the whole rest of the wanted poster left to go still lol

I meant to post an update last week but I got really sick. Nami is a lot more recognizable now!
