I'm so much happier after this move. Its a more niche community which is what I'm looking for. I started my Reddit account maybe a couple years ago to balance the harm my work has caused (adtech tracking). I'll leave my account up and unintended so searches will remain accurate. But I don't see myself going back.

Between lemmy.world and fedia.io, magazines I'm viewing are at least 1 day behind the source. I figured it was due to the increase in new posts and the creation of additional lemmy instances that all have to sync.
