I've been stuck on a lift that lost power at night. Fortunately I was only up there for an hour or so but it was enough to scare me as a teenager. Being stuck all night would have been horrible. Glad she is survived.

I never got those cars. The only use case I could see was what you described: high density downtown living. They are small but that's it. They were not cheap. They were not efficient. They were not convenient in any way other than the footprint. And if you are living and driving in a downtown area where the small size is a benefit, there is a good chance walking or other public transit options are more available anyway.

They just seemed way too niche.

Ooo that reminds me. I got real debrid/stremio set up and I need to cancel my Disney subscription!

We just recently switched to Stremio/Torentio/Real Debrid. This was what made it convenient enough for my wife to really be onboard with canceling our subscriptions. Stremio plays on a super cheap Onn TV box from Walmart and that works for us. There are probably better hardware options though. I was going with the cheapest option I could find just to test the waters.

And the emissions requirements that are based on the footprint of the vehicle. So when a manufacturer has trouble meeting emissions standards they just have to make the car bigger and then its all good!

More importantly who is replacing Michael Wincott? "Kaw, Kaw! Bang! Fuck, I'm Dead!" Is going to be hard to match.
