As a completionist open-world games give me progressively more anxiety. Worried I might miss something or mess up a quest line I like.

I am perfectly fine with a clean story or just don't bog me down with a growing list of uninteresting side quests. No I don't want to harvest 500 goblin dicks for a helmet that completes my set.

Most people I've brought the moon landing up to think the moon landing was fake. I usually point out a few examples to explain away the their arguments. Also I add that thinking it was fake is a huge slap in the face to all the skilled people who made it happen.

I feel like I'm going crazy. But everything I've looked up are credible sources, unlike some stupid YouTuber pointing to the the flag and saying "there's no wind on the moon, how do you explain that sheep!"

They put a fucking pole through the top of the flag to keep it straight, because they also realize there was no fucking wind. A kindergarten could work out how to do that.

Really depends though.

I do photography/videography as a salaried employee with my personal $5k camera and singular 50mm lens, so my paycheck is technically what I'm paid.

I made my work buy 4 other specialty lenses and continuously growing inventory of accessories. So probably push that number up around $10k+. My services at my job equals like $50ish an hour. With my $10k+ worth of equipment. But I get health benefits... yay...

When I do side jobs, I don't charge much. Corporate headshots for example are about $100 per person or $300 for a certain amount of time for everyone on the same day. So depends how much of a pain in the ass they'll be.

I also have worked with scheduling external photographers by the hour, photo journalists, not your wedding/graduation people which she looks like based on her images style. Costs are regional and based on demand/completion in that area. So someone can cost $1,000 for 2-hours on-site in Boston and someone can cost $400 for 2-hours in middle nowhere Kansas.

So what I'm saying is equipment costs a lot obviously. Yes it's fair to charge more than $300 a session, but you better be damn good to ask $1,000 for 2-hours of your time.

When doing websites. I always told people upfront, you can do it cheap, fast, or good. Pick two because all three doesn't exist.

Instead, participate in your local government.

I used to agree, but that's not how this works anymore unfortunately. The problem with this and many other things local government is doing, like the data center craze.

They are steamrolling the communities it affects. If they even hold town halls to voice concern. The intent is not to listen, it's to pacify the community and talk over them.

Yes we can vote them out, but corruption runs deep. Community leaders are more concerned about wealth and false security than the people they represent. Once they are out their like minded friends fill the gap, with enough false promises to take the seat. If the new additions don't participate with the big players, local corporations and CEOs. The ones these politicians feel are revenue streams and hefty tax payers. They get walked over or denied higher positions.

This is turning into a situation that requires strong reactions. We the people are seen as statistics and nuisances to what the more powerful see as progress. The progress they want benefits a small percentage and does not represent the masses. They are forgetting who matters.
