Who's the better Martian?
Hands down Marvin. That little dude has Martian pride out the wazoo.
Martian Manhunter is totally Earth washed... That being said... I would never pick a fight with that dude.

Ring Cameras Join Flock and Amazon to Now Create Direct Data Access for ICE

Ethernet is the standard for security cameras anyway. It's a higher quality feed which is important for indisputable evidence in a court of law. Just about every Wifi camera is either seriously lacking in resolution, frame rate, or both. Wifi cameras are also stupidly easy to jam with like $10 worth of equipment and minimal knowledge..

Oh man those Frixion pens are by far the best erasable pen. They run out super quick and are not cheap at all but they have the most consistent ink, vibrant colors and leave almost no visible residue when erased - mostly just a pen indent left over. Those pens got me through some of my toughest university courses with style and flare... My notes were beautiful.
Important tip with those though... The magic disappearing ink affect is triggered by heat which is usually generated by their special rubber eraser. But there's a catch! if you, for example, forgot all your notes in the trunk of your car in direct sun on a hot summer day... It produces enough heat to cause all the ink to disappear.... Ask me how I know that.

Any app on recent Android versions can leak certain traffic

My guess is if the server side connection stays half open it would mean the server is still sending data to your device after its closed the connection causing that data to essentially get sinkhole'd.
Maybe in some extreme examples if you have a huge amount of connections that get abruptly closed your bandwidth could be limited until the connections expire. In normal circumstances that probably just means a small amount of additional background resources are getting wasted.

current PeerTube can't compete with YouTube
Reply in thread
Content quantity and discovery are definitely issues with peer tube but I think you hit the main issue here... Using it is a horrible broken experience right now. The few available apps are a bad experience and the websites feel cluttered and confusing. One of the core features of PeerTube is P2P sharing (give back what you take) but whether I'm using an app or browser I can never tell if that feature is actually available and working. I just want a user friendly app that plays videos and allows me to passively contribute bandwidth to channels/videos I like. I really want to like PeerTube but it's not a fun experience at the moment.
