Different forms of democracy and autocracy

The phone call was recorded by Russian intelligence. No one ever doubted it's authenticity. They just got indignant about Russia listening in and embarrassing them with her "Fuck the EU" comment.

This is a matter of record for the very hill you chose to die on, and you've never heard of it. You have no idea why you support what you do, just that you love being on a team.

Yes, Obama. I stand corrected. Biden was however the "pointman" on Ukraine.

How would Ukraine defeat Russia without drawing in a nuclear power and killing us all?

Robots? That seems to be the direction, foreign provided UAVs seem to be the only successful tactic, albeit a terror tactic.

It's approaching half a billion dollars, with no end in sight. And what do the Ukrainians get, other than oligarchs skimming it? More war, more death, and no future?

Between the predatory IMF and war loans, their grandchildren's grandchildren will still be paying this generational debt. All while Blackrock has privatized every vestige of public institutions.

The West's corporations and billionaires are terrified that Ukrainians actually might democratically choose Russian annexation, which would wipe out this debt, privatization, and austerity overnight.

I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

But let them vote and they can choose themselves.

Is the reason you don't know about the underlying ideology of the junta government that you might just not be being told the entire story? You can ask them. They'll tell you with no shame. They name roads after him. They erect statues of him. Children sing songs about him in public schools. Since the fascist coup in 2014 Stepan Bandera has been reframed as Ukraine's George Washington.

You're just being willfully ignorant at this point.

I'm not Russian, so my opinion means very little. I simply acknowledge a foreign leader as existing and representative of a sovereign people.

Now, if my tax dollars were going to arm Russia , then I might have an opinion. But they're not, are they?

I can reserve my opinions for actually arming brutal regimes like Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ukraine, etc. Things I SUPPOSEDLY should have some say in, but I don't.
