[AdGuard] suggested that the issue may have been linked to popular community-maintained filter lists like EasyList and uBlock’s Quick Fixes.

A new filter rule added to EasyList on August 11, 2025 targeted telemetry requests thought to be tied to YouTube’s view attribution and analytics.

That rule remained in place until September 10, when it was temporarily disabled.

A similar change was added to uBlock’s Quick Fixes on September 10 and removed on September 17.

Yup. Programmers who have only ever been programmers tend to act like god's gift to this world.

CEOs, I can assure you that the people who aren’t doing work from home aren’t doing any more work in person.

And what really sucks is this just the beginning. Soon enough, they’ll all demand everybody work in-person 5 days a week for the same supposed reasons.

Does this mean I no longer have to disable it in 5 different places each time I setup Firefox?

For end users, it seems like everybody is mostly content with all the options available except Snap.

I was offered an agreement that, for me personally, raised difficult long-term questions about rights, future technological use of identity and voice, the ability to speak freely, and compensation. Ultimately, it just wasn’t something I felt comfortable signing. I genuinely wish everyone involved well. But preserving my autonomy mattered more to me.

Fair enough.

It makes sense, scammers looooove gift cards. And any time you see someone with a $500 or $1K+ USD gift card with a suspiciously vague and unenthusiastic story paired with it, you almost certainly know they’re being scammed.
