Well, consider this: Palpatine was unable to sit on the throne when he had all of the electricity and sith magic and shit flowing through him. It was only after he like stole the life force from the girl and the guy who was bad (but had a change of heart and now it’s all good, no big whoop) that he was able to get near, and eventually sit on, the throne.

Seems pretty clear that electrifying the hypothetical non-living president while sitting on a throne is unlikely to work.

But what do I know? I’m just a widely respected marine biologist 🙄
