So glad this place is on the fediverse! Looking forward to seeing more members and posts. I used to be somewhat active in this community on that other site that we all left that rhymes with deadit.

Anyways, I drank heavily for 5-6 years, constantly blacking out and being a really shitty partner and friend. Finally decided my usage was not normal and that I had a problem so committed to sobriety.

My current streak is around 10 months because after ~1.5y sober, I thought I was cured and started “moderating” last summer. That lasted a couple months before I was back to the old ways. We all know how that goes. I don’t really count my days because it doesn’t help me at this point but in the beginning it was really awesome seeing 3, 7, 14, 30, and 90 days being strung together of choosing me and my health every single one of those days!

I just graduated optometry school and I feel like I've lost a bit of my identity. I didn't have much free time to focus on the things that make me happy and now I'm lacking inspiration. I can't work until my license is approved so I've had days of doing nothing since May 7. It's been great but it's starting to get boring; I can only play so much Zelda and doom scroll so often.

So whatcha got? What do you like to do? What are some hobbies or passions everyone has? What are non-drinking related activities to do with a partner or friends?

This is my 6th or so play-through and each time I would work steadily to completely clear my farm so I could maximize the amount of grass that spreads for future animal hay. This time I did four corners (single player), left one corner neglected, and this happened! I then read how it works on the wiki and I understand why I never got them before haha. I am sooooo excited.
