It's November the first year of my first proper run, and I doubt I have enough food. Will the cold or starvation get me first? :-)

I also don't have a quern and need to find suitable rocks, dig straight down and hope my copper pickaxe is up to the job?

So much to absorb.

I used to play #rpgs when I was young, late 70s early 80s, but we would also play the occasional #BoardGame. #Talisman was a favourite, #MagicRealm, #CosmicEncounters and others saw some play as well.

A few years ago I played #Dungeoneer with a friend, but I've now discovered that there are lots of games that you can play solo, something that will likely suit me. This was incredibly rare back then!
I just ordered #ArkhamHorror the card game and #KinfireDelve for some solo fun.

I've been using Calibre to manage my ebooks for years, but haven't delved very deep into what it's actually capable of. But it seems that the combination of koreader and Calibre might be very useful.

I'm not quite sure what to do yet, but having Calibre serve books to my Kobo devices and automatic syncing between them over wireless sounds super useful.
I'm sure I can squeeze in a raspberry pi in there too somewhere. :-)
Time to tinker, I think.

@alternativenation
Do you remember the first album you bought with your own money?
For me it was Even in the Quietest Moment by #Supertramp
I had asked my older sister for advice, and while we didn't really have the same taste in music I wasn't disappointed.

Edit: Uhm, not sure Supertramp counts as alternative though...

@alternativenation a friend of mine introduced me to #Portishead when they were still active, and it was very different to music either of us usually listened to at that time. I still really like them.

I still associate the song Wandering Star with the science fiction show Babylon 5 😄
My mind just made a connection there somehow and now I'm stuck with it.
