It is not a ban but a guideline. The guideline says that smartphones should not be used in class unless it has an educational or medical reason. Schools themselves can decide whether they want to allow smartphones in the class or not. That said, apparently there is a huge problem with children using Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok or any other social media, and research has shown that allowing smartphones in class is a disturbance and leads to lower student performance.

Is het misschien ook een idee om een Discord en/of IRC server op te zetten waarmee we elkaar en nieuwe leden kunnen helpen en misschien nieuwe communities kunnen opzetten?

Wat is handig, om een apart draadje te open om te peilen of hier interesse voor is? Of er gewoon één maken? Ik ben zelf niet bekend met het hosten van een IRC server, en het beheren van een grotere Discordserver heb ik ook nog niet gedaan, dus ik ben misschien niet de meest geschikte persoon om dit op te zetten, maar indien nodig kan ik natuurlijk proberen te helpen.
