Paul Krugman. He is the author of 27 books. He has a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
“The growth of the Internet will slow drastically … By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet’s impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machine’s.” - Paul Krugman
To be fair he has done a lot for economics, but he is far from infallible.

I have a BananaPi M3 and the software support was horrific. Getting a kernel to compile with the hacked drivers and firmware was like black magic.

🚨 LibreOffice is looking for a paid system administrator👨💻
Most people I know who would be good for this job would never apply without some hint of a salary range.
Nothing worse than wasting everyone’s time and ending up not even close.

Windows Vista was actually pretty good
The UAC prompts were over the top. To me that was the worst part. They were toned down to a more reasonable level in every version after. But I agree otherwise.

See what’s changing in Firefox: Better insights, same privacy. Stil a good choice?
I don’t really understand what search topics have to do with improving the browser. The blog post doesn’t make that clear at all.

Why exactly are nursing aids paid so poorly?
Reply in thread
It needs to be more than education. For instance, I know a county that subsidizes nursing school. But the nurses are paid a terrible salary and many leave to work in higher paying countries.
If they would just pay their nurses more, they wouldn’t need to subsidize the education and maybe skilled people would stay.

So, putting the book down where you finish reading it until it organically evolves into a pile of books doesn't count as "arranging"? Rude! 😜😂

It is essential to stop using Chrome. Under the pretense of saving users from third-party spyware, Google is creating an ecosystem in which Chrome itself is the spyware.

I use Firefox all day on both Mac and Windows and this rarely happens. It does seem to happen on Linux for me sometimes though.

Today there was a page on my bank that just would not load in Firefox even though the rest of the site was fine. Switched to Chrome and it worked fine. I only use Chrome in these situations.
