When the image in a post isn't HD, it just keeps trying to load, so the load icon just keeps spinning. Trying to download doesn't work at that point either. Toggling HD off fixes it, the loading icon disappears and you can download no problem.

Especially when I leave the app, even just for a second sometimes.
I use the paged feed, not infinite scroll.
To fix it, I have to go to page 1, which will still have posts. Even without refreshing on page 1, when going to the next pages, all the posts are there again as expected. Even if I paged back to page 1 just before, and every page was empty.

Maybe not a lot of money, but its about half of my units.
I can't even remember how i ended up with this settlement on a desolate planet with extreme wind speeds.

Pretty cool though, I'm going to have to check this settlement mechanic out.
Maybe start another one thats not on a hellish firestorm planet.

I'm up to this point in the guide, going over setting up VMs and the configuration to the network to accommodate them, and am wondering if anyone would recommend going a different route? Like was said in the beginning, this is just their workflow, that they've had for a while. Are there better ways to explore now?

I've had this issue for some time now.
Here you can see video, in a post with a lot of comments to navigate through, and only the up navigation works, going to the very top.

When I create the post, it gives me that error, signs me out, and removes the user from my user list.

Edit: I can create a post here with that account while on my pc browser.

solved? looks like it works now... I just created another test post with my lemmy.world account without issue. Idk how things are different now.

Let's say I get to page 5 on my feed and i go to the comments of a post. Then I leave the app. When I come back to the app, and back out of the comment section I was in, it's as though I'm on page 1, all the content from page 1 is visible. But it still says I'm on page 5. This doesn't happen all the time. This has been going on a while, I just didn't know how to report/document it.
