When did you switched to 0402 LEDs?

By far, the most common reason for leaky batteries is a lack of use.

They are 0603 from AliExpress. I ordered 500 of them and still have plenty left. If you're in the US I could pop some in an envelope for you.

I am also a big fan of the Convoy Black Clip. I clip it on the battery tube on the end just before the tailcap, I feel that it holds better there.

Sometimes they glue the bezel on but strap wrenches solve that pretty quickly
