More specifically, that these are somehow lauded as being good lore/storytelling, when they are garbage narratives. But then I remember that as a kid in a school of a thousand, probably less than a hundread of us actually had the hobby of reading books in the school library, and I remember that the common person, much less teens and young adults, don't actually read for fun and its just the same as it ever was. There's just more content for mouthbreathers these days.

Oh hey, there's an instance for this. Have a fun little 17 minute album, it's not pure chiptune, but this artist incorporates chiptune into all their work and I'm quite fond of them. This is my favorite album by them.

Ah, such fond memories of trolling my brothers with these bastards. Infect was such nonsense, but I loved it. Could both use these guys as walls or force a block against them and just steadily chip away at your opponent's creature's strength. Even better if you tossed equipment on them. Crossing an anglerfish with some tree root monster was a nifty idea, too.

Another Conflux card. I've always loved this card. It's very beautiful and elegant despite it being a pretty bad situation for the creature it's cast on. Or maybe it's not too bad and creatures just get exiled back to the plane they were summoned from? Hmm, now I'm wondering about the lore of the Exile mechanic. Anywho:

I've always thought the Espers from Conflux were sleek as hell. Natural bodies cojoined with slender tendrils of etherium. I also just adored artifact creatures, in general.
