Tinfoil Hat Time: I think the separatism in the US is being stoked by outside forces. If you read a summary of The Foundations of Geopolitics it sounds very familiar to what's happening. I also think Social Media needs to go, or rather engagement driven algorithms, because they create informational bubbles that polarize society.

Won't effect the US, even if it causes cancer. EU has prohibited food additives which are carcinogenic, but we don't because the poor, poor food producers might have to pay farmers more and pay a couple pennies to make food that doesn't kill people.

The only downside I can see to this is that now everyone is going to be wearing orange shirts, for an orange man, depicting his pale fucking face, and it will be awful.
