What's the best persona for my sick GF to start, she's never tried a persona game but I think she would love them, she's been loving Claire obscure

Depends what approach does you/she have.

Persona 3 Portable - if she wants to go from the earliest possible on PC (I wouldn't recommend it though, cause Reload exists) Persona 4 Golden - if she wants to go by date and still have a lot of fun (Remake is already on its way, can wait IMO) Persona 5 Royal - for a modern full-package Persona, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE Persona 3 Reload - to start with remake of the earliest PC-available one

I intentionally skipped first two installments as they are much more retro and not available on PC natively. I'm a huge fan so I'm case you need any help, just let me know 😉

Search for a note taking app (solved)

Tried couple of them but still came back to Obsidian with remotely-save (for me it's S3 but doesn't matter) for last 2 years. The sheer simplicity plus the fact that I don't have to synchronize every second (it's only my notes, no collaboration) beats every other solution.

If you'd like an alternative, see Trillium Next (community driven fork) but despite the fact that it's great it doesn't beat my current setup (yet 😉)

Affine is good too, but it is a bit more complicated with the benefit of more features.

Extremely well written!

Most people simply don't care or if they do they don't need others to care. And then there are the people that want to change something and expect others to do the same, then being surprised they have their own opinions. The next step is of course to rant about it to other random people on the internet just so they can get a confirmation that they are not the problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company seek injunction against Palworld plus fine and damages, developer says

Still it would be best for Ninny to lose this one hard.

First: if they won't there will be more to come for other games, stopping any innovation in this genre.

Second: Their lawsuits are hitting other software developers (see Yuzu/Ryujinx cases), players and content creators and we need some case where they lose so they don't go even wilder

Go with whatever you want to go, my friend! People are mad because of the politics rather than the software itself (not going to lie, THERE ARE questionable software choices, but it doesn't change the fact that most people didn't even check it)
