Dude, they were wrong about the health risks of substances before. But the beauty of science is, you can be wrong and change your view if evidence points to that.

You can drink Aspartame if you like, I don't shame you. I just don't drink it, because if it's found to be worse, I haven't given up something I would miss. If I'm right, I've lowered my chance to get cancer. Good luck to you.

You can test that out issuing a kbin account browsing Lemmy instances in that case. You can see the upvotes and downvotes as favourites and reduces that way.

Thank you. I'm not arguing about sugar being bad. I'm just not convinced it's worse than Aspartame. A lot of research was finished the last week's pointing to Aspartame being carcinogenic. Maybe even more so than sugar.

But of course you are right, it's much easier to consume sugar, because it's in everything. Even more so in the USA.

For your Zigarette, obviously.
