!14ers a place to discuss high altitude hiking.
In the spirit of making the communities you want to see, I've created !14ers! A fairly niche topic but would love to see trip reports trickle in.

Hiked Torreys and Grays last week, quick route/trip report.
Went up to Grays first, ended up hopping up to the CDT and following the ridgeline up to the summit. The standard switchbacks were still really snow covered so I'd say it was an easier route. Ended up putting our traction on for one section of the climb.
Took the saddle back over to Torreys, the way down was super snowy, ended up glissading several times, was not envious of those who went Torreys first and had to climb there way up to Grays. Once we were at the low spot the snow thinned out and we were able to fly right up Torreys.
Decent from Torreys was painless, threw out traction on to traverse the snow field and made it back to the main trail.
GPX of the planed route and the actual, don't mind the straight line from Torreys summit to the trail intersection, bumped my watch and wasn't tracking that part of the descent.
Lots of great throws. Really interested in the O Soto Gari grips at 3:34, going to have to give that a try at randori.
