I loved the New War. It was a brilliant quest imo. Kahl’s Garrison on the other hand is a boring weekly dread just for some time-gated shards.

Any gun is useless with only 4 mods, it’s the same case with my Kuva Bramma, I didn’t bother to invest in it since I already got a fully built Kuva Zarr, it barely scratches SP enemies.

That said, Kuva Zarr felt weak to me as well when I first got it, I had to bump up the elemental bonus to start feeling it.

Also, after the the ammo nerf, I found ammo mod more useful than VS. It’s a 90% ammo increase vs 30% pickup, the difference is quite obvious especially on these heavily nerfed weapons where they only pickup 1 bullet at a time, unless you’re really rooting for that 5% crit tier enhance.

Just FYI, Chromatic Blade actually replaces the slash damage with element on the Exalted Blade. I’ve been running Furious Javelin since I found out about that.

I tried to dust off my Sevagoth yesterday since I got him forever ago, and he's still very bad imo.

I found no reason to use his Shadow form at all despite being an avid Desert Storm user. I'm comparing him to Baruuk because both are melee focused 4th ability and both are locked behind a meter. The Shadow form is too limiting in too many ways:

1. Sevagoth needs to fill the meter almost to the brim to use his 4 while Baruuk can use it anytime as long as the Restrain dropped, even just a little.

2. Shadow form cannot refill Death Well while Baruuk can lower his Restrain anytime as long as he casts his other abilities.

3. Shadow form cannot use guns. Baruuk can just swap to whatever weapon depending on the situation anytime.

4. Shadow form cannot interact with mission objectives.

5. Last Gasp is superior in every way than using Shadow form. 5 souls vs 3 kills, even down to 1 when it's Eximus while Shadow form cannot deal with any heavy unit in any meaningful way.

6. (cont.) Shadow form can only use an altered version of his 2 in downed form, meaning any button you press would just send you mindlessly zooming forward which is quite difficult to control and very confusing given how we usually use and interact with the Shadow form.

7. Shadow form's abilities cost energy and ignore Arcane Energize on Sevagoth, that means if I want to use Shadow form for a prolonged time, I'll have to consider Arcane Energize on him instead of other melee focused arcanes.

8. No skin, no augment, no bitches?

9. (This is a complete subjective opinion) Too much casting time between switching to Shadow form and back. I was trying to do something like a 4, 1, 4 combo, and it took too long to be useful. This is a wasted opportunity in my opinion, he could be extremely fun if he could function like Nidalee or Elise in League of Legends.

Let's just hope DE will fix him in some meaningful capacity when his prime comes out...

I still struggle to find a good color scheme for the Shadows so that I won’t keep shooting at them, and I refuse to use the new UGLY ally outline thing

Lately it’s Exergis for me. The Kahl mission did it bad, the gun feels so good after some proper modding. It’s like Felarx but with extra oomph

90% of the people didn’t care or look close enough. The Captcha algorithm picked that up. The remaining 10% of people who actually use their brain have to either gamble on that 10% chance, or succumb to the hive mind to save that 3 seconds of their lives.
