All this excess of information, games, shows and everything else is ruining our boredom, which is usually what leads us to think more creatively

It spills over. I'm bored as fuck all the time and I have lots of musical gear, a gaming pc with a steam library that has 1k games on it, a raspberry pi emulation station with thousands of classic games, a huge kickass TV with 3-4 streaming services at any given time..

I quit reddit like 5 months ago because I was tired of sitting there and bored-scrolling (among bucketloads of other reasons.) Now I bored scroll on YouTube.

It's like emulation, for example. Your mileage may vary but I know it's a common issue people have. When you suddenly have every nintendo game to play, it's not the same. It's too easy to not be satisfied and think one of the other thousand options can do it. For me it always devolves into jumping from game to game and never having the itch scratched. I think it's like this across all media.

Elon Musk admits X 'may fail, as so many have predicted'

You're being extremely disingenuous. Those things exist on that platform and every other social media platform. If that's literally all you're seeing, you are not using it right... in fact you have to be going pretty far out of your way to make that the entirety of the content shown to you. It wasn't hard at all to find quality posters and filter out the bullshit.

The same reason 2016 happened. Lots of mentally broken people in this country. Just watched a manager, old guy, at work, go off to another old co-worker about "did you hear about what they're doing to skittles? With the fucking trans colors!?" knuckle dragging rabble rabble THEY WERE ALREADY A RAINBOW.

You're not wrong but it's going to take a long time for "that relative that is calling could be someone else" to be something that people actually think about. Simple to execute your solution but 99% of the people out there won't even consider the possibility.

"HI we are chased bank and we sent you 40k please give us the codes to Amazon gift cards to pay it back" still works on the elderly. This trick is going to wreak havok among old people.

Are steam key sites legit/worth it?

I can only imagine you in a super shady trench coat sitting in some dark alley signaling people over. One side of your coat has G2a keys and the other side has bottles crudely labeled "snake oil". G2a is garbage and nobodies "but I get der gaems 4 cheep" anecdotes are going to change that.

Elon Musk admits X 'may fail, as so many have predicted'

Right now? Probably. Musk has super-fucked it and I won't have anything to do with the guy or his projects. You argued it's always been this way, though. It was not if you took a moment to use it correctly and follow people you like and ignore those you don't. I give my friends shit (jokingly) for using "X" and the answer is the same "It's the best way to keep tabs on my favorite creators."

If you resold Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets, the IRS is watching — A new rule from the IRS is punishing those who resold tickets for more than $600 in profit with a tax penalty

Yes I did say it's a crime... it is profoundly illegal... my exact words. According to the law, scalping is only "a crime" in 16 states. People can think whatever they want, I think it's stupid and should be illegal worldwide, but that doesn't matter. Gotta put your feelings aside when dealing with things like this, and jumping to extremes like you did is irrational and silly.

You reached the end
