White House in damage control mode after Musk talks Social Security cuts
It’s not damage control. Trump just use musk to test the water and push the boundaries. When the red line is crossed enough time, people will be numb about it.

Musk is a walking posterboy for overturning a major Supreme Court decision
The post rightly points out that Citizen United is one of the cornerstones of contemporary American politics and the continued success of Trumpism.
Regrettably, when a law is enacted to make existing laws meaningless, there appears to be no legal path to undo it.

Hundreds per week. How many guns do people in America eat every day?

That's love
Awww. That’s the most healthy way to use social media: only check out someone you care about, and show your love to them.
Everything else are distractions if not poisonous , which is especially true on Twitter.

Trump might have to ask foes like Trudeau for emergency eggs
I can vaguely remember what eggs used to cost
If trump keep “creating history” for another 50 days like he has been doing for the first 50 days so far, I surely wont remember what an egg look like.
Even some of my friends from China and Russia are taken aback by the level of vulnerability and obedience Americans seem to have towards brainwashing techniques.

Everyone can handle 4 years of economic hardship
I believe that’s what most Trump voters are thinking about. They’re willing to make some economic sacrifices to get the country to change in a way they agree with. And the fact that their liberal neighbors will also suffer economically, and more than them psychologically makes this sacrifice more palatable.

What the US can learn from South Koreans who stopped an authoritarian power-grab.
Korean president has very low approve rating and is quite unsophisticated in political operation. The martial law drama was widely considered stupid move by the president.
Trump II on the other hand is much more experienced and thoughtful in executing his playbook. America has a lower chance coming back from authoritarian, and the sacrifice needed to pull this off will be vast.

Israel’s Netanyahu signals he’s moving ahead with Trump’s plan to move Palestinians from Gaza
So apparently there’s still no plan. Trump created some big news trying to force Arab countries to deal with this, but I doubt America has much leverages left. Now with USAID gone, the influence was even less.
