I think my favorite “automation” is actually one of the most simple. There’s a button next to my garage door I press when leaving the house. It just shuts down all the things I want off. No lights lights left on I know the doors are locked etc

Is there any point to having more than 1? As long as the instance isn’t shut down it shouldn’t really matter which one is “Home” right?

I’d love to see a Dark Mode personally, but also a way to see what’s on the homepage of a instance. I like to check that (kind of like r/all) to get news or things outside my main subscribed community’s

Yes you should be able to comment on any community no matter where your “home” is (as long as that community/instance doesn’t have any special rules)

I liked it at first, but recently (using the app) I’ve had major issues with response times. Like minutes if it gives me an answer at all.

I haven’t gotten a chance to look at kbin yet. How is the interactions with Mastodon better than here? New to Lemmy/Kbin but not mastodon so might be nice to keep things were I know about them.
