Thursday Legend Platform chelsea boots!

Just came in! I’ve never splurged this much on boots before, but my last cheapo ones scuffed and tore at the heel so I figured I need to spend on some quality ones for my next purchase.

As far as the construction, this review really sold it for me: https://youtube.com/watch?v=T50J8kej5bU

I’m normally a US Womens’ size 5.5-6, and I bought my usual size 6. So far they feel great, sturdy. And I notice they’re very thick compared to my previous pair of boots. The leather is quite stiff, although that’s probably because they’re new. It feels a bit snug on the width and ankles with thick socks on, so my first impression is that these boots run smaller.

Can’t wait to wear them this fall/winter🤗

TIL the smallest known reptile in the world is a chameleon

Pictured here is Brookesia nana, discovered in 2021 in Madagascar

Measuring just shy of 14 millimetres, B. nana can perch cozily on an aspirin tablet.

For nine years, Brookesia micra, a cousin of B. nana described in 2012, clung to the title of tiniest chameleon. B. nana is smaller than B. micra in body size, measured from snout to cloacal opening at the base of the tail. But it sports a longer tail. Differences in how size is determined make it complicated to definitively claim that a species is the planet’s littlest.
