What is this bit?

Hi, can you please help me identify this router bit? It came in a set of bits and there's no further explanation. I am seeing this for the first time and have absolutely no idea how and what for could I use it. (Though I am an ultimate routing rookie).

The tip looks like a V shape and there is one straight side blade, though it looks like they're not connected.

Sharing saved list of caches in c:geo with a buddy

Hi,
I wonder how you, fellow c:geo users, handle list sharing with eg. your cache buddy?

Let's say I plan a trip to a location, I search for caches in that area, pick the ones I want to go after and store them for offline use in a list.
Now my buddy wants to join me and I want to share the list with him.
Do you have any tips for me?

Does gpx export works well for this?
I use the app for many years, though I'm not a hardcore user nor geocacher and I never needed (or thought of) sharing a list of caches with a buddy or party...
Cheers.

Deploy Authentik to already working services and accounts.

Hi,

TLDR: Does anyone have an experience with setting Authentik to already existing user accounts, most importantly in Immich?

I am currently thinking (and studying how to) about deploying Authentik and using it as SSO for the stuff I host. The main reason is to rise the WAF and make them more accessible and appealing for perhaps other family members.

I already see some roadblocks ahead and am trying to understand, how to go over them in a smooth and safe way.

For most of the services, there shouldn't be much risk (loosing watch history in jellyfin might be unfortunate but not mission critical).

Though, I'm running Immich with three users, each with several years of photos.. And here I'm afraid of how to link these already existing photos to the new accounts introduced by Authentik.

The other service is Nextcloud, but I'm the only one using it now and I could prepare and move the data, contacts and so on, though calendars might be PITA...

If anybody have some experience with it, I'd be so grateful.

I run most of my stuff in docker containers on an Unraid server at home, behind a hell of a cgnat and a tiny VPS where my caddy proxy and synapse HS live, and where I'd like to set up the Authentik as well.

Does aeropress fit on top of chemex?

Hi guys, Can someone with access to chemex and aeropress at the same time check, if aeropress fit on top of chemex?
I use the aeropress for myself and I would like to buy chemex for when I want to brew larger batches of 4-6 cups.
But I would also like to use it as a karafe only, brewing 2-3 cups with my aeropress.

Hence my question. Will classic regular size hexagon-based aeropress fit safely on top of chemex to brew coffee in it? Cheers

Looking for shared storage with access without loging in

Hi guys, this might or might not be entirely off topic. I am looking for a solution that would in a civilized manner allow me to gather photos and maybe videos from a bunch off poeple.

Background

There will be an anniversary at our local community and we are preparing a printed publication. Due to us being a bunch of incompetent, naive fools, all photos are spread across our memberbase. We don't have any collective storage or album.
We want to use these photos for our publication, thus we need to collect them from our members and to make things worse, it is really on short notice, we have like 14 days to pull this off.

What do we need right now?

  • Online upload
  • about 50 users
  • ages from teens to seniors
  • mostly Windows users, mixed Android, iOS and dumbphone
  • possible mobile app
  • Anybody with URL shall upload and edit folders
  • Shouldn't need to create account or log in
  • preferably folder structure (no AI sorting nonsense)
  • total size unknown - my estimate is <100GB
  • I don't care right now if it is FOSS or not

Right now preferably not self hosted

Wrong community, I know. But, my home server is not accessible outside LAN and I am afraid that I wouldn't set VPS fully working in time. I would be very happy and grateful for both advice for our current situation and for (FOSS) selfhosted solution we could use in the future. Hopefully I can finally convince everyone, we really need at least NAS, so there will be no next time... Cheers

Split zigbee RGBW dimmer into two separate CCT lights

Hey guys,
Yesterday I have finished installing two LED strips to my kitchen. Both strips are CCT, connected to separate outputs on 5 channel dimLED zigbee dimmer. The dimmer can work in single colour, CCT, rgb, rgbw and rgbww modes.
If I set it to CCT mode, it shows up in HA as single light and both strips are controlled in tandem. instead of replacing it with two 2ch dimmers, my idea is to switch it to rgbw mode and somehow convince HA to see them as two CCT lights.
Honestly though, I am confused with how empty my config file is. There aren't any of my zigbee divices. (I guess i was experimenting with HA long time ago and mostly with ESP devices).
Has anyone tried something like this? I am using a Sonoff zigbee USB stick and ZHA integration.
Cheers
