@em @politics @ml @emselimahmed @bangla there's a slight difference between independence and liberation. Independence was what had happened in 1947, while #Bangladesh was liberated in 1971.
What l meant to say is simply that in a democratic setup, particularly in a multiparty system, a party shouldn't have been banned. You stated your opinion. Now, don't you think others ought to have had a fair chance to state their opinion regarding the party in question ??
Moreover, the leader whom you're referring to is a guest in our country. That's not the point !! There are enough loyalists living in your country who were eager to represent the party in the election, but were not allowed to.
