Every once in a while I help a family member or friend out with their machine and am stunned when I see the web without an adblocker. It honestly reminds me of the malicious early 2000s porn and “free downloads” sites… but it’s everywhere now, like cnn and eBay and shit. First thing I do is install Firefox and ublock origin, and mostly for their security.

Youtube has also been running basically porn ads on “for kids” youtube channels as well and my kindergarten aged niece and nephew have been exposed to that shit. Adblock is 100% cyber security AND for kids safety.

I think part of it was he had a really tough time dealing with California covid regulations for his business. It wasn’t something he could buy his way out of or pad someone’s pocket to make go away and they were very serious about it. In the same vein, that’s around the time his daughter came out as trans and you can see how that ended with her changing her name and completely disassociating herself from him. Combine that all with a slow (arguable) but consistent decline in the public’s admiration and opinion of him (which he craves desperately) and he began to crack.

Started running into things he couldn’t control or pay to go away and couldn’t cope I guess… I dunno

A furry subreddit bans defending zoophilia/pedophilia. This surprisingly turns out to be a highly unpopular decision.

Fun little anecdote. My mentor during my CS degree was head of the network programming department at the university and also worked on the OG arpanet before it became what is today known as the internet. It was originally to be a tool to allow fast, digital communication and information sharing between educational, research, and governmental facilities.

I asked him what he thought about the internet as it is now and he said “it was all a mistake, if I knew what it would become I never would have helped build it, and all of my colleagues I keep in touch with from that era feel the same”

Think he gets ESPN on that thing?

Lmfao! For all the people worried about me cutting my cats whiskers, he’s a sphynx. Those are his natural whiskers. As for what’s on his head, that was a whisker naturally shed from my other much more floofily endowed cat.

Feel free to check my other posts of these two idiots (said with love) if you want verification.

My wife was a college gymnast when I met her. She was ridiculously strong, I was scaroused. Gymnasts are not from this planet. That weight would be no problem for most.

Edit: on second look, her hands aren’t clasped and fingers loosely interlinked, probably fake cheese but my above comment still stands.

I tried the breakfast one. My buddy saw them at Walmart and bought me a cup cause I like to try weird things. Very anticlimactic honestly. Basically a normal cup of ramen, with a bit of dehydrated eggy bits. The only real flavor that comes through is a splash of syrup and salt. Not gross, just… boring.
