Arch users have the latest softwares, Debian users have LMDE. Is it real that Arch users are rich and have mid level PCs and is always up to date? Well they don't have Mint(debian edition). Dont need to ask if anyone using it tho cuz its Mint and Debian edition of a distro.
I think I should just choose Arch.
I'm thinking of choosing Debian instead. I'm a student, low on budget, and wanna play with linux and laptops, and I think Arch or Cachy OS need updates or distro upgrades(?) weekly or something?
Solved: up to date Arch can last for 2 decades on my cheap laptop, and use Flatpak for older versions of software.
Arch is only for mid-level PCs.
It's my choice but Arch and its derivatives look like the trend like CachyOS which is #1 right now on visits on distrowatch. Also I've heard Google use Debian as gLinux and I feel many other giants also use it and sponsor it and I'm not comfortable choosing it as my distro. Can the sponsors togethwr with students or any other interested use it for their PCs, either coding or ordinary use? It strictly promotes free but worried about giants and sponsors.
They say debian is free and has its promise, but Arch has like 2-4 maintainers?
I'm not a computer expert or planning to be. I'm just a computer user, a coder, a gamer, and I think I will get the opportunity to afford cheaper PCs if I use the Arch distro from Linux which is very lightweight and fast. I've heard Microsoft forces you to bloat your PC with win11.

If so, how do you do it? Do you use Google Play books or use apps like PDF file readers? I'm only 19 and I'm interested to start my reading hobby. Though I can also grab some books on a close bookstore nearby, I am also interested to do it digitally.
What if I want to make an RPG game with a text dialog that you can scroll down? And according to my research, 50% of mobile games are made with Unity? Maybe some for the engine, some for pure coding? Maybe that's their trick?
