Play games with your neighbor to sink even lower! Canada rules!

Personally I wouldn't bet on the next election. Grassroots power takes a lot longer to build, but it's much more resilient in the long run. If you're joining the NDP get ready to play the long game.

I doubt the people are ready for another orange wave, at least until Avi Lewis gets the local activist networks going again. On that note I encourage people to actually join the NDP and help get things rolling. Membership is very affordable (depends on region, was <$20 for me) and they will put every dollar and minute you're willing to give to use.

No, he explicitly got his own room. It's in the thread and you've been told this directly, so you no longer have any excuse for misunderstanding.

I'm going to create experienced software engineers by taking inexperienced ones and having them develop software for a few years as part of a team.
Thank you for attending my TED talk.

I did, and I don't see how what reddig33 said in any way conflicts with your satire. I'm not really sure why you replied at all.

Mind the context, we are talking about how little our society is capitalizing on the abilities of people, not on some stupid "we only use 10% of our brain" take

I Hate Linus Tech Tips
Reply in thread
In one of the rare cases I find myself defending anything Linus does, Linus was attempting to install Steam on PopOS and it bricked the OS. Yes, he should read the warnings, but also how the fuck does that even make sense?
A thread on r/linuxmasterrace about this event pegged the fault at approximately 1/3 PopOS, 1/3 the package maintainer, and 1/3 Linus, and frankly I think they gave Linus too much fault.

I legitimately would be okay with an “it gets to you within a month” option.
This is pretty much how all my Aliexpress orders go. Works for me.

You bet your ass they do. Modern farming is a multi-disciplinary gig these days. The average manosphere lunk wouldn't make it.

I remember a talk by a Microsoft VP who said that a very optimistic estimate would be that we were using human intelligence and creativity at maybe 5% efficiency. The actual number is likely much lower than that.

Americans definitely love their larger 1/4 lb’ers over the smaller European 1/3 lb patties
Fun fact: because Canada and America's economies are so intertwined but we don't use imperial measurements for products anymore, our Monster drinks come in 473ml (16 oz) cans.

Going from game port to USB with "plug and play" was a huge deal man. Not having to manually assign IRQ to get your audio working too lol. That said, there is still one thing that was cursed in the old days and remains cursed now: printers. Fuck printers.

I did it, lads.
I dated a Chinese student at university. She seemed alright until somehow the topic of Tibet came up, and then she went full tankie describing how the Tibetan people were nearly subhuman, living terrible lives with no ability to care for themselves.
I've heard people say similar shit about indigenous Americans and yeah I think it's safe to say that you cannot understate the dangers of propaganda and nationalism.
