Grab the "2 random pills" and the "duplicate anything you own once" pill. Duplicate the "2 random pills" pill with the duplicate pill and eat both "2 random pills" pill and have 4 absolutely random abilities.
Hopefully it's pure chaos

How awful! *snickers*
If CEOs legally must do what benefits the shareholders, than cutting millions in employment costs by swapping CEOs with AI is now their legal obligation
(Probably won't happen, but I can dream!)

What was "the incident" at your work place?
Hmmm I guess we have two of different types
1: late into pandemic when inflation was really bad a bunch of the workers were super upset by their wages, management got together to get a solution. The plant supervisor called a meeting and told everyone there would be a "substantial raise", it was $0.20. Less than 1%
The second, more recent, a fire broke out after a maintenance repair went awry. Someone pulled the fire alarm and it failed to work. Someone pulled a second fire alarm, it failed to fully initiate the system. Then on the last attempt it finally went off but the fire suppression system and sprinkler system did go off but not over the actually burning area. This lead to a whole region of the building getting smelted and a big investigation on the fire suppression system. After it was resolved they asked employees to continue working their shift, even in the smoked out areas. The stench was horrible and probably carcinogenic lol

The Theory That Men Evolved to Hunt and Women Evolved to Gather Is Wrong
I had always assumed that Hunter-Gatherer societies were very loosely sex divided and strongly necessity based. Meaning, sure men could be the typical hunter and women the typical gatherer but if necessity dictates, any person would do any job, and, given the times, that was probably frequently.
Furthermore they also likely didn't have societal structures the way modern societies did, meaning people likely weren't barred from any job or forced into any job, it was a community effort for survival, if you meet a criteria that can help, you do that.
These are not factual statements, these are just my assumptions on how I figured they reasonably existed.

The part is greatly disliked about his books is how he glosses over the fact that he had a TON of resources at his disposal. A father figure that's already in business, that tutored him specifically, gave him many connections in the business world, and also let him sit in on business meetings for nearly a decade. The man had more exposure, teaching, and connections than most business majors before he even set foot into the business world.
For a normal person that would take years of schooling and a really tough time making those connections and is an entirely unrealistic comparison.
TL;DR You are right, basically impossible for a normal person to achieve because the resources at his disposal.

Apple a day keeps the doctor away. Kid tries to keep the "doctor" away so as to avoid the shot. "Doctor" is actually a nurse and would be unaffected by the apple even if the supposed saying were true
TL;DR kid tries metaphor logic on wrong entity

Hey i just wanna know are raccoons evil in some kind of way ?
Nature is way way more vicious than most people think or believe. Rape, infanticide, necrophilia, cannibalism, etc. Are not entirely uncommon out in nature. It's a vicious race for survival and procreation and anything goes. Raccoons are the same.

TBH I always wondered why people were shooting up malls and schools instead of the people who actually cause the societal conditions they're upset with
Edit: to be clear I'm not promoting this, it just never made sense to me

I default to whatever the traditional apparent gender would be assumed I.E. you look like traditional woman/man I refer to you as such. Then I allow myself to be corrected if it's inaccurate.
The intent isn't offensive and I'm not going to ask each individual what pronouns are preferred but will respect whatever I'm informed is correct in each instance. I think it's being made into a mountain when it's really just a mole hill. You can't expect every human to automatically be correct or informed or even default to a neutral when it is not yet the norm.
It seems too trivial to be butthurt over if it isn't malicious, especially upon first interaction. Let the person know, then if ignored or dismissed it can be considered offensive.

But are they cool?
Are they happy? I think this should be the measure of success for a parent to worry about. Encouraging them to reach goals can absolutely be a part of happiness but I've had friends who spiraled down the drain because their parents pushed them so hard to make tangible achievements and completely neglected their actual happiness

This is why I kept getting so angry during the pandemic. Refusing to even just wear a mask can straight up hurt, if not kill others. How can someone care so little to be unwilling to do that small of a compromise?
I had a family member refuse to visit an elderly sick family member because they'd have to wear a mask. Made me so angry. So much respect for them just evaporated.

Uncle brian... I get you now
My whole family is this way. For the most part we all recognize that you can live your life and not communicate every day, week, or month and still be okay with a person. We are great at picking up where we left off we just all have our own lives and that's okay.
It still feels strange to me when friends contact their parents daily or weekly and say their parents etc. Get upset for not contacting them frequently enough. I understand that's the way their relationship works but maybe my family is the odd duck Lmao

I had a partner at one point that loved me reading to her. She was not a big reader and read slowly but wanted to enjoy the stories, so I'd read to her. It's an amazing feeling to have someone fall asleep on you while you read to them.
I love a good voice so I'd be pretty happy to have someone read to me too.
