You know what scares us about big tech? Planned obsolescence.
Planned obsolescence isn't even in my top 10. The worst things about Big Tech are existential, like its use for mass espionage and murder by evil regimes.

Biden says he was ‘stupid’ not to sign Covid stimulus checks as Trump did
Also stupid: ignoring calls that you're too old, dropping out way too late for a primary and handing off to your VP who was not particularly popular last primary.

New York Times rejects Quaker ad for calling Israel’s actions “genocide”

It's not far right fascist. It is liberal Zionist. Liberals can and have been genocidal too. Liberal Zionism is incompatible with humanism or universal values.

Israel grabs land in Syria’s Golan Heights, warns villagers to stay home
Israel literally kept the Golan Heights as a buffer zone inside Syrian territory. It then annexed it and is now occupying new Syrian territory as a buffer zone for Golan Heights. Same in Gaza, same in Lebanon. This is an expansionist power which committs outrages against occupied Palestinians, then when Palestine's allies invoke their right to protect Palestinians, it steals territory.
And only America and Europe can change that by ending their support for its settlements and military. Instead they scheme to undermine all of its neighbors, play on their Sykes-Picot divisions to ensure no progress is made unless it has the Israeli stamp of approval on it.

Yes, you can actually see the disappointing number of so-called liberals who make a mockery of the concepts of humanitarianism, anti-racism and the rule of law.

9/11 guilty pleas delayed after US government objects
Mohammed was subjected to simulated drowning, or "waterboarding", 183 times while held in secret CIA prisons following his arrest in 2003. Other so-called "advanced interrogation techniques" included sleep deprivation and forced nudity.
Sounds totally legit and he should definitely be executed on that information despite the guilty plea he signed after 20 years of being tortured.

Reddit is making sitewide protests basically impossible
Reddit is one of the most infiltrated and astroturfed site. I have absolutely no confidence that the leadership are interested in addressing that. When there were suspicions it was anti-US actors, they had to take action because the government would get involved. But we all know that such pressure doesn't exist for other astroturfing actors, state and private.
