[Episode] Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin • Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra: Hametsu no Bunmei de Hajimeru Sekai Seifuku - Episode 11 discussion

One more episode, feels like it's ending far too soon. Will be curious where they cut and if that will be it for this series. Obviously there's a ton more material but no idea how this has been received.

Was thinking about last episode more and I think of this series similar to another, which I can't name, because it's sort of like, if you know there's a twist, it ruins it, making there no reason to watch, and if you don't know there's a twist, there's no reason to pick it up because it doesn't have any hook until then. I feel like that's what makes this hard for people to either pickup or recommend.

Edit: Since I complained in the past, I should say the animation of this episode was much better

Kingdom management simulator 2025 (Lawful Evil DLC)

Seems like they have a good setup, with a terrain that buffs them and debuffs enemies and a hero that gets stronger over time, as long as they aren't zerged rushed it seems like a pretty strong civ

The only thing this made me realize is that in the OP, I had assumed the fire tower was something the lady in red was doing, this made it clear that it was the saint doing it to her instead. Now I might have read the LN but I feel like I imagine things differently so it's interesting to see how things are animated to see how I got it wrong

Maybe that will change depending on if it sells or rates well?

::: spoiler spoiler the opening makes me think they're thinking ahead? sort of like how overlord had scenes from future seasons in it, because I find it hard to believe they'll get that far in this 1 season at this pace :::

Been reading the LNs for this and enjoying them. Hoping the anime will be good. I imagine it will be difficult as usual to adapt system and strategy heavy stories to anime, but we'll see. Also curious about the pacing, first episode seemed pretty, maybe not slow but leisurely; but with 12 episodes, wondering how much they plan to cover.

I hadn't thought I was going to watch anything this fall season, and then I saw this was airing and... I still wasn't sure I was going to watch anything, but then I watched the PV for this and, holy heck the animation quality is off the charts; and after watching the first episode, holy heck the animation quality is off the charts. This might be worth it just for the fight scenes alone.

Yea... that was my fear. Some smartphone isekai levels of "if the fight is faster than you can see with your eye we don't have to animate it taps forehead". I was going to recommend this to people that liked Overlord but... might be best to just stick to the manga or novels, this is no Madhouse. I'll still enjoy it as I was already a fan but :\

I guess I was wrong about how far this anime would go. Pacing is a strange thing to me. I'm the Evil Lord of a Galactic Empire had 12 episodes to go through 1 volume which was ~240 pages, but this seems like it's going to try to get through 3 volumes in 12 episodes each the same length. I wonder why there's such a big difference.

Lots of inner monologue for most of the beginning of the show, that can be difficult for adaptations. Antelise definitely was drawn... differently than I imagined her but I guess it might fit her character (with the constant face art changes and chibi-ness etc). Turns out evil isn't always aligned with evil.

That was pretty good, definitely glad it was 13 episodes and not 12. They probably skipped a few bits, one thing I noticed lacking was the explanation for the guns, which is because he realized he can emergency produce apples and pears which are from his world, he can do the same for anything else.

Seems like the story would be all coming to a head with various games and their cliches in the future, if there is a second season.
