This thing is amazing! I barely used my phone at all in the morning and all through the afternoon as I went about my business. I got sucked in for the evening onwards, but baby steps.

Hey ticoombs, I just saw this while trapezing around the fediverse. It's a proof of work challenge via hashing to make AI scrappers bleed resources when trying to crawl our servers.
Could this be a potential measure against DDOS from scrappers when the server load is high? Or even as general protection with a low difficulty setting? What do you think?

Hey all. I've noticed that @lemmy.cafe has defederated threads.com as well as threads.net.
While I wasn't able to see any info via threads.com from here, and I am new here, so it's very likely I had done something wrong there. Do you think it'll be a good idea to defederate that domain as well?
