I am in bed right now but tomorrow I can take a look at my setup and suggest some things.

A couple examples: I connected my litter robot (litter box) to HA and it notifies me when the cats break something, and I can see statistics of which cats use it and how often to keep an eye on their health. I have it turn on the portable air filter after a cat goes and leave it on for 15 minutes. I also automate 2 dehumidifiers based on humidity sensors I built with some tiny wifi microcontrollers and hard wired humidity sensing chips (I can tell you more about that with specific models later)

I also control a roomba-style lawnmower with HA.

Lots of other little things too like sunset-based light triggers and doorbell-triggered events and stuff.

All of these are things I already owned before I set up HA. Just browse through integrations and also get HACS (a community extension store built-in to the UI) and see what you already own that can be connected. I bet it will be more than you expect.

It's a meme about how draining the cmos battery bricked some PC's, I think. It's formatted like the Wikipedia sidebar summary for articles on wartime battles.

If you have a desktop and not a laptop, it's always a great idea to get a separate sound controller. Either a dac/amp for nice headphones, volume controls on a wireless headset, or even buy a sound mixer like the rodecaster duo so you can assign independent applications to each physical slider on the mixer. I do that last one and it's such a quality of life improvement if you use your PC a lot.

All of these options can't be seen from Spotify.

Travel fare

I mean, I get where they are coming from. Like nobody is stopping you from traveling across your country/as far as you can go without a passport. "Anyone" physically fit to do so can quit their job, lose their home and walk. You can try to catch and cook your own food. Or scavenge and beg. You can see sights and explore nature for free.

All that being said, that's obviously not the type of traveling people want to do. It works if you're already broke and young and fit (and in some countries, not a minority), but if you want to keep your job and go other places quickly, that shits expensive and the OP knows this and is just being pedantic by saying all you need is courage.

Cracked minecraft: where the heck is it? How do I obtain it???

Side note: if you want to run a dedicated server and play on it with a cracked version (or just an offline mode or while MS services are down) edit the server.properties file and set online-mode=false from true. (Then restart the server if it was online)

This wipes everyone's inventories if there was already progress, so have everyone put their items in a chest before doing this. If you use modded, have everyone unclaim their chunks or any other username-bound items like teleporters with permission systems.

All of this can be redone, reclaimed, re-bound after the change happens. This effectively changes your in-game identities on a server from a Microsoft one to an offline one. This also makes it possible to evade username-based bans.
