I get it, and they definitely make things easier on people. But how many times have we seen instances of people abusing their custodial privileges? My gripe is with the push I've seen to get people using these tools, more than the existence of them in general. Mnemonic techniques to remember your passwords will always be superior from a security perspective. It's the same as crypto, "not your keys, not your coins."

Belief…is the insistence that the truth is what one would ‘lief’ or (will or) wish to be…Faith is an unreserved opening of the mind to the truth, whatever it may turn out to be. You're correct, but only through the modern bastardization of the terms. Beliefs and faith aren't interchangeable, they are different things. Just because people claim faith doesn't mean they have it.

It's like naming your dog Cat, and then getting upset that he won't use a litterbox.

Perhaps while viewed through a limited scope.

But it's also the precursor for innovation, and the drive behind automation. Without it we'd still be plowing fields by hand for a significantly smaller yield.
