Each coloured band represents the genre of a book I read this year. Purple is fantasy, pink is romantasy, teal is scifi and red is romance. I was just learning to crochet when I started, so I made some mistakes and choices at the beginning I wouldn't now, but it doesn't need to be perfect. This covers the 36 books I read from January through June, and it's just over 6' long! No idea where I'm going to store/display it when I'm done!

Based on the blue insularis pit viper. Didn't have a good pair of brown buttons so I went with "gray" (pale blue)!

My favorite snake photo. This is a Rhino Rat Snake.

I took this photo at Reptiland in Central Pennsylvania, but this snake is from Vietnam and China.

Love the color and wiggly nose.

got it from here

::: spoiler spoiler actually expressing happiness? probably not. will i willfully misinterpret this as a smile because snake cute? yes. yes i will :::

Again, not what typically gets posted here but figure it's relevant, especially since

Snake Pass was created by Seb Liese as a love letter to both the favourite games of his youth and his childhood pet snake.

It's also her birthday soon! Since we don't know when she was born at all, we've arbitrarily set her birthday to January 1st 🐴

Not exactly the typical content for this community but figured snake enjoyers might appreciate this.
