Pokémon GO’s 10-year anniversary celebration continues with the Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary Edition event taking place Tuesday, July 21, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, July 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Party hard with rotating event bonuses, wild encounters with first partner Pokémon, Pokémon wearing party hats appearing in raids, and Willow’s Birthday Research.

I originally saw this goal and laughed it off. But then I decided to go for it.

I set a goal of 7km a day. That was going to be hard because I have serious back pain after breaking my back 5 years ago. I knew it wasn't impossible but it was going to hurt and it was probably going to mean doing multiple shorter walks each day with recovery periods in between.

The first two days beat me up but I managed to pull 11 km each day. But today I felt good and managed to do 13 km without collapsing.

I never have to look at another one because they are useless in combat.

This evening my house went from 15 spawns to a max of 3.

This will not do. I see reports from others that this is happening all over.

When I moved in I didn't see anything on the radar for a year. Then one. Then a hoard to rival the town McDonald's spawns. Now almost nothing.

Completely failed to do inventory for a week and didn't tell my Giovanni catch was a perfect.

My other perfect shadows are a ratta and a Regigigas.
